STAND UP FOR 9/11

Help build the Northern Kentucky 9/11 Memorial and join legendary radio Hall of Famer Gary Burbank as he MC’s “Stand Up For 9/11,” Friday, April 26 hosted by the Radisson Hotel in Covington. “I‘m happy to help a truly important cause, “stated Burbank, “and I’ll get to introduce some of the funniest comedians around.”
Nationally known comic and regular guest on “The Bob & Tom Show”, Mike Armstrong will headline the night along with local stand-up comedians Dave Hyden, Rob Wilfong and Loraine Braun for 2 hours of laughs and family fun for ages 16 and older. “I am so looking forward to this fun night of comedy,” stated Armstrong. In addition to a great night of entertainment there will be a cash bar, raffles, split the pot and more.
Tickets are available at the Crescent Springs City Building, 739 Buttermilk Pike. Phone 859.341.3017 from 9 till 5 Monday through Friday. Tickets are $20 through the day of the show and $25 the night of the show. Doors open at 7. Showtime is 8 until 10 on Friday, April 26.
Also on display at the Radisson Hotel, 668 West Fifth Street, Covington, the night of the event will be a 200 lb. twisted and melted steel I-beam officially secured from Ground Zero at the World Trade Center in New York after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The steel beam will be incorporated into the Northern Kentucky 9/11 Memorial, which will be built next to the Veteran's Memorial in Crescent Springs.
