Whereas, Section 82.083 of the Kentucky Revised Statutes provides that the City may sell or otherwise dispose of any of its real and/or personal property pursuant to the terms of such statute, and pursuant to City of Ludlow Resolution 2014-5, the City of Ludlow is selling real property which has been declared surplus real property by sealed bid, with minimum reserve bid, and will be accepting such sealed bids for the purchase of property commonly referred to as Sleepy Hollow Road (Incinerator Property), Ludlow, Kentucky 41016.
Bids for the purchase of the property will be accepted beginning Friday, February 28, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. Bids will be opened at the City of Ludlow Municipal Center, Friday, March 7, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.; all bids must be received by the City of Ludlow at the address noted, below, prior to the 4:00 p.m. deadline on March 7, 2014. There is a minimum reserve bid of Twenty-Five Thousand and 00/100 ($25,000.00) DOLLARS; And, the bidder will be required to complete the purchase within 30 days of bid award. Transfer from the City of Ludlow will be by Quitclaim Deed. All bids not meeting the required minimum reserve bid amount will be rejected. The City of Ludlow reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Bids must be received in a sealed envelope which has been clearly marked “Incinerator Bid”.
Bids may be hand delivered to the City of Ludlow Municipal Center located at 51 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky or sent via USPS in the above described manner to:
