REQUEST FOR BIDS
FOR THE CITY OF LUDLOW, KENTUCKY’S SALE OF SURPLUS REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON PROSPECT STREET AT THE REAR OF 12 MONTROSE STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to K.R.S. 82.083 and K.R.S. 45A.365(3) and (4) that the City Council of the City of Ludlow, Kentucky (“City”) will accept bids for the sale to the highest and best bidder, plus all costs including advertising costs, of fee simple title to the real property located on Prospect Street at the rear of 12 Montrose Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016, and being Parcel I.D. Number 040-13-00-039.01 (“Property”) as authorized and more fully defined in Resolution 2020-11, adopted by the City Council on September 10, 2020 (the “Resolution”). A copy of the Resolution describing the Property to be sold may be obtained from the City Clerk’s office at 51 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016, during weekday office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This Request for Bids shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation and posted on the City’s internet website at https://www.ludlow.org/ as required by K.R.S. 45A.365(3).
Any person interested in submitting an offer for the purchase of the Property shall submit a sealed bid to the City.
Sealed bids must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the City of Ludlow, 51 Elm Street, Ludlow, Kentucky 41016, which is the place, date and time that sealed bids will be opened. Sealed bids should be addressed to the City Clerk and shall reference “Prospect Street Purchase Bid Submission”.
The City of Ludlow reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities or informalities in awarding the bid, and to accept what, in its opinion, is the highest, responsive, responsible and best bid which is in the best interests of, and most advantageous to, the City and its citizens.
