The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) announced today that, beginning on June 23, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., Brent Spence Bridge maintenance work will occur in three phases primarily during the summer months of 2017.
Significant impacts to traffic on the bridge and on routes to get around the bridge are expected for approximately two months. Traffic patterns will change as work progresses and travel delays are expected. Drivers should plan ahead and leave plenty of time for traveling through the center city and/or across the Brent Spence Bridge.
Slow down, be safe and avoid distracted driving. And when possible, consider an alternate route to cross the Ohio River.
